Happy Birthday Joe Video

We had a night out this saturday night! Joe Video had a surprise birthday thrown for him from his sister and girlfriend. We had so many great laughs saturday night. I said to myself what can I get him? So my gift to him was a picture video of him grown up. As a bonus to the video I went around to everyone he knows and interviewed them, even down to our friends who are cops. Most of the interviews were very very funny. We were all just joking on him as much as we can in the interviews. What made the party so special is that he has NEVER had a surprise party, so he was stunned for about an hour. He is a great person and I am honored to work with him everyday.

almost there

we are finally getting there! Making those cat 5 cables takes forever. I am so glad my dad came out today to help install some of our new editing software into our new intel mac pro. Hopefully tomorrow we can hang the new TV. Looking forward to seeing you all soon. Oh, sorry if you called this week and didn't get anyone our phones were down but now there up. Dave

Another big day of moving. Jamie from dance time entertainment, finally got his part of the office moved in today. Then we decided to start making our cat 5 cables, which just takes forever but were getting there. I can't believe I still have more stuff at the office. I really can't wait to move in and get to work. The phones are still a little crazy but just leave a message and I will call you back.

coporate shoot today

So today we shot a video that will be for sale very soon. The video is a teaching tool on the do's and dont's on what to do if you wanna run for office. It really is some interesting stuff. We worked with jay townsend from the Townsend Group. He has been a political consultant for a very long time. Moving Pictures worked with him on multiple commericals in the past, which were always a laugh. Today was his day to shine as he is releasing a 9 DVD set on running for office. If your interested you can also just hire him to run your campain. We also stole ronnie from park place photo today (sorry rick). He helped us with audio, behind the scene shots and most of all he helped joe video set up the lighting. We also worked with Angela who is a make-up artist. Yes, she does do weddings, if you need to contact her just give me a call and I can give you her number. I will post the link on where to buy the videos in case you are interested. Dave

more moving

I am soooooo tired today. I am moving all of my gear today between rooms. I tried so hard to figure out what would look great. Then when joe, jen, kathy and vicky came by we realized that we had to move desks and gear around again! Once all that madness ended, we then set up my comfy couch. Ha, couch leg was defective! Now I have to go in the morning to bring it back and get a new one. The best part of my day was when my wife and my little helper came by. My daughter leah had just woken up from a nap, hense the funky hair. She just couldn't stop helping all day! So enjoy the picts and hopefully we'll see you soon!

moving

Hey all, we had a crazy day today. It was moving day! All I have to say is WOW! Thank god Joe "Video", Jim and my stepfather Tom were there or today would of been a big bust. We started off at 11 am at IKEA where I picked up my comfy leather couch and my new editing desk. Mr Video and jim didn't like my Vintage looking desk but hey I like it. It is a 5 foot stainless steel desk with funky legs. After IKEA we stopped at the old office and began hell day. I never realized how much video equipment I own. When your shooting 50 weddings half the year and the other half of the year, producing/editing commercials and corporate videos. You have to own a lot of gear. It took us 8 trips with 3 trucks! WOW. The "Moving" team was unreal. Nothing broke, nothing missing and nothing sold on the side of the street! LOL.. At the end of the day we got 80% of my office in but not taken out of boxes. Tomorrow morning I will be putting it all back together! Wish me luck. The new office should be up and ready to go by thursday, friday! See you soon, dave
